John, the host, was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing useful local information and history. The location was excellent, close to Spark Arena, Albert Park, the university, and downtown-all within walking distance. Breakfast was freshly cooked and personally served by the owner in a beautiful period-style room. The charming B&B featured comfortable common areas with tea and drinks. Free parking was available on site.
